U.S. Misses Deadline To De-Fund Palestinian Terror

Missing deadlines is never good . . . especially when the law demands action by a date certain. Just ask Americans who file late with the IRS.

But that standard seems not to apply at the U.S. State Department. The Taylor Force Act required the State Department to report to Congress by May 22 what U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority it will nix because of PA funding to terrorists. Yet that deadline came and went . . . with no report and no action.

Liberal Media Sides With Palestinian Terror

Angry at President Trump for halting American aid to Palestinian refugees, the Los Angeles Times editorial board asked this loaded question: 

"How do fewer schools and jobs and more hunger help the Palestinians or the cause of peace?"

The biased editorial decried the Trump administration's decision--made in January--to withhold $65 million from the pro-Palestinian United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Earlier this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told the House Foreign Affairs Committee that UNRWA funding is still "under review."

Herein lies the problem....

Israel's Southern Border Under Assault

I flew in early this morning from Israel where Anita and I led a 10-day Covenant Journey tour. These tours take college-age Christians to Israel for a transformational introduction to the land and the people of modern Israel. Students return with their faith renewed--and become stalwart advocates for Israel back on campus.

But as I departed from Ben-Gurion airport, Israel's southern border was under assault. Since yesterday, terrorists in Gaza fired more than 100 projectiles--mortars, rockets and missiles -- at the Jewish state's southern border.
