Trump tells Palestinians, No deal. No money!

Today, the Trump administration made another bold policy move to defend Israel and force the Palestinians back to the peace table with Israel. National Security Advisor John Bolton said, "The United States will always stand with our friend and ally, Israel."

What to eat during Rosh Hoshanah?

Mat Staver, Chairman
Christians in Defense of Israel

On the eve of Rosh Hoshanah, the start of the Jewish New Year and Israel's High Holy Days, you may be wondering "What can I eat to help celebrate this wonderful Jewish event?"

According to the Independent, "The sweet foods that Jews eat during Rosh Hashanah are meant to symbolize the hope for a sweet and happy year ahead. One of the most recognizable food staples that adorns the dinner table during Rosh Hashanah is apple and honey, a traditional combination that has passed down the generations for centuries. In addition to dipping the apple in the honey, Jews also frequently eat honey cake, pomegranates and round raisin loaves of challah to see in the New Year."

Israel's High Holy days are a remarkable season of new beginnings, prayer, and repentance.
Together, let's pray for Israel and our Jewish brothers and sisters for "a good and sweet year" during this season.  See my earlier message below  – Mat.

Pray For Israel

My friend Mike Huckabee recently posted an article on FoxNews in which he calls on people across our nation to stand in prayer and support of Israel.

"Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East, needs our support now more than ever. With rising anti-Semitism and hostilities from Israel’s Arab neighbors, our Israeli brothers and sisters need us."

Report: Why We Must Defund The U.N.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls it a "place of darkness for my country."

Donald Trump slammed it in 2016, saying "it surely is not a friend to Israel."

And U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley blasted its "outrageously biased resolutions" and "breathtaking double standards."

I'm speaking, of course, about the United Nations.

Survey reveals overwhelming support for Israel

Christians in Defense of Israel's "Middle East Peace" survey reveals overwhelming support for the nation of Israel and President Trump's policies. It also exposed perhaps the leading reason why peace in the region is so elusive.

While the vast majority surveyed do not think a two-state solution is achievable...

Do you believe that a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians is achievable?
Yes 10.6%;   No  82.3%;   No Opinion  7.1%

The next question revealed the reason why...

Trump peace plan leaks

What I just learned has me very concerned. Before I share it, I want you to know I would dearly love to see peace come to the Middle East. That's what President Trump's long-awaited peace plan is all about. He wants to do the "deal of the century," as he calls it, to resolve the bitter conflict. And I hope he is able to pull it off. He already surprised the world on North Korea.

But new information puts Trump's push for Mideast peace in doubt.
